Chinese New Year begins January 23, 2012.
My students love making a mask for Chinese New Year out of a pre-made template run on construction paper (see blackline below). Glue a popsicle stick for the handle and decorate them with crepe paper streamers and bright colored markers. There is also a wealth of resources on TeacherVision.com and Scholastic.com
